All About Mrs. Krieger
Education:
Masters of Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State
Bachelor of Science: Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas
Bachelor of Arts: Studio Art from the University of Texas
Teaching Experience:
I taught seven years in AISD as a second, third and fourth grade teacher before coming to Eanes Elementary in 2001. When I started at Eanes, I was a collaborative special education teacher, and now I am the gifted and talented specialist. My favorite part of school is learning and trying new things. I love to encourage students to take risks because even if it doesn't turn out to be a success, we still learn a lot from our failures.
Personal:
My husband Scot and I have lived in Austin since the early '80s. We have three children: Torrey (Clemson University), Blair (University of Texas) and Preston (University of Texas). We also have one adorable, but mischievous black lab named Ace who loves a good walk. I spend my free time running at Townlake (Lady Bird Lake), "walking" Ace, reading, trying new art projects and playing golf.
